🌿 A Peaceful Escape to Kudal — Nature, Nostalgia & New Vibes

🌿 A Peaceful Escape to Kudal — Nature, Nostalgia & New Vibes

By Juhi — Mentor, Learner, Explorer | Juhi the Explorer

Tucked away in the beautiful Konkan belt of Maharashtra, Kudal welcomed me with open skies, green fields, and a quiet charm that city life often forgets.

This wasn’t a grand trip. It was slow, peaceful, and filled with little joys — and that’s exactly what made it special.

🌾 First Impressions — A Breath of Fresh Air

The moment I stepped into Kudal, I felt it.
The air was cooler, the pace gentler, and everything around me looked like a painting — coconut trees swaying, tiled-roof houses, and birds chirping like they were happy I came.

There were no honking horns or rush — just the sound of rustling leaves, temple bells in the distance, and a rhythm that made my heart slow down.

🚢‍♀️ Exploring the Local Life

I spent the day exploring the village lanes, smiling at strangers who smiled back, and stopping to look at old-style wells, colorful houses, and mango trees heavy with fruit.

I visited small local temples, walked along narrow paths surrounded by green, and even watched the sunset near a quiet riverbank — golden, peaceful, and unforgettable.

πŸ› The Food — Simple & Soulful

The food in Kudal was a flavour bomb — homely, spicy, and cooked with love. I had traditional Konkani meals with rice, kokum curry, fried fish (if you eat non-veg), and soft chapatis.
Even a simple glass of buttermilk tasted heavenly in that weather.

And the local jackfruit chips and banana wafers? Irresistible!

🧑 What Kudal Meant to Me

Kudal wasn’t about activities.
It was about being still.
It was about waking up without alarms, hearing birds instead of traffic, and reconnecting with nature — and with myself.

Sometimes, you don’t need a fancy trip.
You just need a quiet place and a quiet mind.
And for me, Kudal was exactly that.

Looking for a soulful break from the noise?
Let Kudal surprise you — with its silence, smiles, and simplicity.

πŸ’¦❄️ Water Slides & Snow Fights — A Perfect Day with Papa at AquaMagica & SnowMagica

πŸ’¦❄️ Water Slides & Snow Fights — A Perfect Day with Papa at AquaMagica & SnowMagica

By Juhi — Mentor, Learner, Explorer | Juhi the Explorer

Some days stay with you not because of where you went, but because of who you went with.
One of my most joyful and heartwarming memories is the day I visited AquaMagica and SnowMagica — with Papa by my side.

It was a day full of splashing water, sliding screams, and snowball fights — and most importantly, it was just us. Father and daughter. Laughing like kids.

πŸ’¦ The Fun Began at AquaMagica

From the moment we entered AquaMagica, I knew it was going to be unforgettable.
The place was full of energy — music playing, kids running around in swimsuits, and water slides that looked both exciting and scary!

And guess what? Papa joined me on almost every ride.

We screamed our hearts out on the loopy slides, chilled in the lazy river, and got drenched under the giant water bucket splash.
I was laughing nonstop, and Papa? He looked like a teenager — carefree and happy.

We even posed under water showers and danced in the rain zone. It felt like time had slowed down — just for us to enjoy this wild, splashy escape.

❄️ Next Stop: SnowMagica — Winter Wonderland!

After drying off (and stuffing ourselves with snacks), we made our way to SnowMagica — and boom! From summer to snowstorm in minutes!

As we stepped inside, the icy chill hit us. We were handed jackets, gloves, and boots — and suddenly we were in a mini Kashmir inside Maharashtra!

We built snowballs, clicked pictures near snow castles, and slipped around laughing like two little kids.
Papa even tried the ice slide — and yes, he screamed like it was a rollercoaster. πŸ˜‚

There were lights, music, and that beautiful soft snow everywhere.
We forgot about everything outside that frozen world.

🧑 A Day That Filled My Heart

This wasn’t just an amusement park visit.
It was a precious pause from life — where I got to see my Papa smile, laugh, play, and live in the moment.

Not many daughters get to have days like these with their dads.
I know I’ll carry this memory forever — the cold snow, the warm love, the water rides, and the laughter echoing in my ears.

If you ever get the chance to visit AquaMagica and SnowMagica — go with someone you love.
Let loose, splash around, feel the snow on your nose, and make memories you’ll talk about for years.

🌊 A Walk Through the Sea to Colaba Fort — A Timeless Escape

🌊 A Walk Through the Sea to Colaba Fort — A Timeless Escape

By Juhi — Mentor, Learner, Explorer | Juhi the Explorer

Ever walked through the sea to reach a fort?
Yes — not beside, not around, but through the sea.

That’s exactly what I experienced on my trip to Kolaba Fort (often called Colaba Fort), near Alibaug, and trust me — it felt like stepping into history, with waves gently brushing against your feet.

🌊 The Walk Begins — Through the Shallow Sea

The fort isn’t always surrounded by water. During low tide, you can actually walk across the sea floor from the beach to reach it.
And that’s exactly what I did.

With rolled-up pants, salty breeze in my hair, and excitement in my steps, I walked through the soft, wet sand. Crabs scurried by, shells crunched underfoot, and the water sparkled like a mirror reflecting the sun.

🏰 Reaching the Fort — A Piece of Shivaji’s Legacy

As I approached, Kolaba Fort stood proudly in the sea — ancient, weathered, yet majestic.

Built by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the 1600s, this sea fort still holds whispers of history in its broken walls and hidden corners. I could feel the stories — of warriors, sailors, and waves of time crashing through centuries.

There’s even a sweet water well inside the fort — surrounded by saltwater on all sides, but still fresh! A true mystery of nature.

πŸ“Έ Exploring & Soaking It In

I roamed the fort, climbed the walls, peeped through stone windows that once guarded the kingdom, and imagined life when the fort was alive with voices and purpose.

The view from the fort was something else — sea in all directions, waves splashing against its base, and the coastline in the distance looking tiny and calm.

I clicked photos, sat in silence, and just… soaked it all in.

πŸ’™ Why This Trip Was Special

This wasn’t just a historical site visit.
It felt like traveling back in time, but with my modern feet walking through a sea path that has been used for hundreds of years.

Kolaba Fort isn’t crowded or flashy — but it has soul.
And when the tide starts to rise, you realize just how special it was to walk there instead of taking a boat.

If you ever crave a unique, peaceful escape — head to Alibaug and walk to Kolaba Fort during low tide.
It’s a memory you’ll carry, wave after wave.

🎒 A Magical Day at Imagica — Just Me & Papa

🎒 A Magical Day at Imagica — Just Me & Papa

By Juhi — Mentor, Learner, Explorer | Juhi the Explorer

Some days are not about where you go — but who you're with.
And one of the most unforgettable days of my life was the day I went to Imagica with the most special person in my life — Papa.

πŸ’– Just the Two of Us

It was just me and Papa. No crowd, no chaos — just us on a mini adventure, and it felt so rare, so beautiful.
Papa had always been busy — work, responsibilities, family — but this time, he made time just for me. And that made all the difference.

We laughed like kids, walked hand in hand, took silly selfies, and just let the day unfold like magic.

🎒 Rides, Laughter & Screams

Imagica is known for its thrilling rides, and trust me — we tried almost everything!
From the Dare 2 Drop to the Scream Machine, I was screaming out of thrill while Papa sat beside me, cool as ever, laughing at my reactions.

We also enjoyed the indoor attractions — Alibaba’s Mirror Maze, Mr. India ride, and the Rajasaurus Dino adventure.
Papa’s childlike excitement made everything even more fun.

🍦 Ice Creams & Memories

We didn’t rush.
We had ice cream, explored every corner, clicked photos at the giant globe, watched live performances, and just let the day breathe.

It wasn’t just a fun trip — it was a rare, quiet moment between a father and daughter who don’t often say much, but feel everything deeply.

🌟 A Day I’ll Never Forget

That day at Imagica with Papa reminded me how precious small moments are.
We didn’t need a big reason to celebrate — just time together, away from everyday life.

And for that one day, Imagica wasn’t just an amusement park —
It was our little world, filled with laughter, bonding, and love.

If you’re lucky enough to go on a trip with someone you love — don’t think twice.
Go. Be present. Soak it all in.
Because these are the days your heart will hold on to forever.

🏞️ Nashik Diaries — Four Years, One Hostel & A Lot of Growing Up

🏞️ Nashik Diaries — Four Years, One Hostel & A Lot of Growing Up

By Juhi — Mentor, Learner, Explorer | Juhi the Explorer

2012 to 2016 — four whole years of my life tucked away in the city of Nashik.
A time when I wasn’t just studying Diploma in Civil Engineering, I was also learning how to live away from home — away from my Papa, and everything familiar.

I stayed in a hostel, shared a room, shared routines, and shared life with a new set of people.
But the one person who stayed constant? Avi. My younger brother. My partner through all the mess, exams, laughs, and hostel chaos.

πŸ’” The Pain of Distance

I won’t sugarcoat it — it hurt being away from Papa.
He was my anchor, my comfort, my go-to for everything. And suddenly, I was in a new city, managing life on my own (okay, with Avi, but still).
There were days I cried silently under my blanket, wishing I could just go home, eat Papa’s cooking, and hug him.

But slowly, I understood — growing up comes with discomfort.
And Nashik became my teacher.

🏫 Hostel Life & College Hustle

Waking up to hostel bells, rushing for the 8 am lectures, barely managing assignments, late-night maggi sessions, and power cuts during exams — that was the routine.

Civil engineering wasn't just books and drawings — it was site visits, dusty uniforms, long submissions, and sometimes, self-doubt. But every challenge I faced built me into who I am now.

Avi and I would walk to college together, crack stupid jokes, share chai from the same cutting glass, and talk about everything — dreams, doubts, and Dosa cravings.

🌼 New Friends, New Lessons

In Nashik, I met people from all over — different backgrounds, different stories.
Some became close friends, some were just passing characters in my chapter, but each one taught me something.
I learned how to share space, time, food, secrets, and silences.
I learned how to trust, how to forgive, and how to let go.

We explored local hangouts — college canteens, Godavari ghat, Sula Vineyards (just to see!), mini treks, and chai tapris that felt like therapy corners.

🧑 Looking Back Now

Nashik was not easy.
But it was essential.

It gave me pain, yes. But it also gave me independence, resilience, friendships, and a deeper bond with Avi.
It gave me me — a version of Juhi who could face the world, even when it was scary.

So if you ask me what Nashik means to me?
It’s a bittersweet chapter I’ll always carry in my heart.

🌊 Marine Drive Moments — Mumbai’s Sea, Street Food & Soul

🌊 Marine Drive Moments — Mumbai’s Sea, Street Food & Soul

By Juhi — Mentor, Learner, Explorer | Juhi the Explorer

Some evenings feel like magic — and Marine Drive in Mumbai never fails to sprinkle a little bit of that magic dust. It was one of those perfect, unplanned outings — just me, Guddu, and Avi, escaping the noise for some sea breeze and street-side cravings.

πŸŒ† The Sunset, the Skyline, and Us

We reached just before sunset. The sky was painted in orange and lilac, and the sea looked calm, like it was listening to our chatter. We found a spot, sat on the promenade, and just watched the waves hit the shore. Guddu cracked jokes, Avi pointed out weird cloud shapes, and I just took it all in — the city’s chaos somehow silent at that moment.

πŸ› Pav Bhaji & πŸ”₯ Momos — Our Marine Drive Feast

As the sky turned darker, the hunger kicked in. What’s a Marine Drive trip without munching on something delicious?

We headed to the food stalls near Girgaon Chowpatty and ordered pav bhaji — spicy, buttery, and served piping hot with extra chopped onions and lemon on the side. The three of us devoured it like we hadn’t eaten in days.

And then — momos! Steaming hot veg momos with that dangerously spicy chutney. One bite and we were all wiping our eyes, laughing, and reaching for tissues. But the taste? Totally worth it.

🧑 More Than a Walk by the Sea

We didn’t do anything fancy.
We didn’t click “Insta-perfect” pictures.
We just lived that evening.

The breeze, the laughter, the food, the glow of city lights behind us — everything came together to create one of those simple but unforgettable moments.

If you ever need to feel alive again, go to Marine Drive.
Take your favorite people, grab some street food, and let Mumbai show you why it’s called the City of Dreams.

Until the next memory,
Juhi the Explorer 🌊🍴❤️

🏞️ A Day at Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Borivali — With Guddu & Avi

🏞️ A Day at Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Borivali — With Guddu & Avi

By Juhi — Mentor, Learner, Explorer | Juhi the Explorer

Some days are not just trips — they become memories stitched into your soul. One such day was our little escape to Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP) in Borivali, Mumbai, with my two constants — Guddu and Avi.

We set out early, armed with snacks, laughter, and that unspoken bond we three share. The cool morning breeze, the rustle of leaves, and the hum of city life fading behind us — it was perfect.

🏞️ First Stop: Kanheri Caves

As we climbed toward the Kanheri Caves, history began to whisper. These ancient rock-cut Buddhist caves, nestled inside SGNP, felt like walking into a time capsule. Guddu was curious, Avi took photos like a pro, and I just stood still — in awe of the carvings, the silence, the sheer presence of those stone walls.

We sat at the edge of one of the caves, overlooking the greenery, munching on sandwiches. It felt timeless. Like the caves had paused for us.

🦁 Next Adventure: Lion & Tiger Safari

The thrill in our hearts when the safari van started rolling was unmatched. The lion and tiger safari is a short ride but filled with anticipation. Avi joked we were on a mini jungle expedition. Guddu kept peeking out (safely!) while I held my breath every time the van slowed near the majestic beasts.

We spotted a lion lazing under a tree and a tiger walking past like he owned the world. And honestly, he did — in that moment.

πŸ… A Quick Visit: Tiger Orientation Centre

Before leaving, we visited the Tiger Orientation Centre. It’s a small museum-like spot inside the park that shares facts and conservation stories. We read, clicked a few pics, and left with a deeper appreciation for these creatures and the people protecting them.

πŸ’š What This Day Meant to Me

This wasn't just a picnic or a touristy visit. It was a pause.
A deep breath.
A walk through ancient paths and wild trails — with two people I love.

If you ever find yourself in Mumbai and need a break from the chaos, SGNP is your place.
And if you can, go with your people. The ones who make every trip ten times better. 🌿

Two Pillars of My Life: A Father’s Day Note from the Heart πŸ’Œ

Two Pillars of My Life: A Father’s Day Note from the Heart πŸ’Œ

Today, I write not just as a daughter… but as someone shaped by two fathers.
One who raised me —
And one who continues to bless me, watching from above.

To My Dad, My First Hero:

You are the calm in my chaos,
the solution to every puzzle in my life.
I’ve grown up watching you carry the weight of the world,
but never letting it show.

From holding my little finger on my first walk
to holding my dreams higher than I ever could —
you’ve always been there.

Your silence has more wisdom than any loud words.
Your patience — unmatched.
Your love — quiet, but infinite.

Papa, you’re not just a part of my life. You are the reason I never gave up.

Thank you for believing in me, even when I didn’t.
Thank you for being the backbone of every version of me.

To My Father-in-law, Watching from Above:

I never got to know you deeply,
but in the echoes of stories, in family moments,
in the way people speak your name — I see the man you were.

They say you were strict but loving, disciplined but kind.
And I feel your blessings in the tiniest moments —
in the way life gently pushes me forward,
in the strength I didn’t know I had.

You haven’t gone anywhere… you’re just not visible, but your presence is always felt.
You’re always close — in my heart.

On this Father’s Day, I send you prayers, love, and gratitude.
Thank you for the son you raised — he carries your shadow in many ways.

To Both of You:

You are my guides,
my strength,
and my protectors — one from the Earth, one from above.

On this day, I don’t just celebrate fathers.
I celebrate love in its most selfless form.
I celebrate both of you —
For showing me what strength wrapped in softness looks like.

Happy Father’s Day — Papa & Papaji.
Your daughter always.

I Travel to Escape... But End Up Finding Myself

Some people travel for fun.
Some for photos.
I travel for something else —
For silence. For answers. For healing.

Ever since I was a little girl, movement has been part of me.
Born on a train — between Kalyan and Allahabad — my journey literally started between two stations. Maybe that’s why I’ve always felt like I don’t fully belong in just one place.

The City That Raised Me vs. The City That Calls Me

Mumbai taught me how to run, how to survive.
Prayagraj taught me how to pause, how to feel.

I’ve spent years between these two cities — one gave me ambition, the other gave me roots.
But lately, even with all that, I feel like I’m standing in a room where no one hears me.
A married life where emotions are tight-lipped. A family setup where my presence is expected but not really embraced.
So I do what I’ve always done when I feel too much — I pack a bag.

Travel Isn’t Just Places, It’s People and Phases

In June, I flew to Chennai.
Not for vacation — for love.
To be there for someone I deeply cared about while he was undergoing treatment.
The airports, the chai at layovers, the smell of South Indian rain — they grounded me more than any home ever did.

And then there was Nagpur — where I saw laughter again.
Where Holi and birthdays melted into colours, and for once, I felt like me, not just a role: not just wife, not just daughter-in-law. Just Juhi.
And that Juhi laughed louder, breathed deeper, danced with less fear.

My Camera Captures Places — But My Heart Captures Moments

• A morning walk in Company Garden with didi in 2018
• The wind whispering stories at Minto Park
• Sangam, where waters meet like hearts should
• Ballia, where I saw life up close — and understood what “simple” truly means

In all these places, I wasn’t escaping home.
I was rediscovering it within myself.

Sometimes I Don’t Want to Return

There, I said it.
Sometimes when the train pulls back into the station, I wish it wouldn't stop.
I want to stay in motion — not because I hate where I live, but because somewhere on the road, I feel seen.
Out there, I’m not just a woman adjusting 24x7.
I’m a soul. A wanderer. A poet. A creator. An observer.

So Why “Juhi the Explorer”?

Because I’m not just exploring cities.
I’m exploring freedom, femininity, faith, and forgiveness.
Because sometimes the bravest thing you can do is take a local bus in a new town — with your heartbreak packed neatly next to your sunscreen.
