Tucked away in the beautiful Konkan belt of Maharashtra, Kudal welcomed me with open skies, green fields, and a quiet charm that city life often forgets.
This wasn’t a grand trip. It was slow, peaceful, and filled with little joys — and that’s exactly what made it special.
🌾 First Impressions — A Breath of Fresh Air
The moment I stepped into Kudal, I felt it.
The air was cooler, the pace gentler, and everything around me looked like a painting — coconut trees swaying, tiled-roof houses, and birds chirping like they were happy I came.
There were no honking horns or rush — just the sound of rustling leaves, temple bells in the distance, and a rhythm that made my heart slow down.

I spent the day exploring the village lanes, smiling at strangers who smiled back, and stopping to look at old-style wells, colorful houses, and mango trees heavy with fruit.
I visited small local temples, walked along narrow paths surrounded by green, and even watched the sunset near a quiet riverbank — golden, peaceful, and unforgettable.
🍛 The Food — Simple & Soulful
The food in Kudal was a flavour bomb — homely, spicy, and cooked with love. I had traditional Konkani meals with rice, kokum curry, fried fish (if you eat non-veg), and soft chapatis.
Even a simple glass of buttermilk tasted heavenly in that weather.
And the local jackfruit chips and banana wafers? Irresistible!

Kudal wasn’t about activities.
