π To All My Friends — The Lighthouses of My Life
π To All My Friends — The Lighthouses of My Life
By Juhi — On Friendship, Growth & Gratitude
Friendship.
It’s such a small word — but it holds within it the biggest emotions.
This post isn’t about just one friend.
It’s for all those people who became anchors, mirrors, and lighthouses in different parts of my journey.
And I know — without them, I wouldn’t be who I am today.
π§Ώ My Forever Little Pillar — Avi
And then there’s Avi — my younger brother.
Not just family, but one of my truest friends.
He’s seen me at my best and my worst.
He knows when to joke, when to hug, and when to simply sit beside me in silence.
His love is quiet but fierce, and his presence has been a shield in every storm.
Avi, you’ve always been my home inside a person.
πΌ The Early Years — When My World Was Whole
I still remember the warmth of childhood, when my mom was with me.
In those sweet school days, two beautiful souls stood beside me:
-
Drishti — the calm in chaos
-
Rupali — the laugh that never faded
They weren’t just classmates.
They were my first understanding of what it means to have a real friend.
π After Loss — When I Needed Light
When I lost my mother, I lost a huge part of myself too.
But life sent me people who held my hand through that storm:
-
Dolly (aka Pratibha) — who understood my silence
-
Esther — whose faith in me reminded me to believe again
They didn’t try to fix me.
They just sat with me in the dark until I could see light again.
π« Diploma Days — Friendships That Felt Like Family
Engineering diploma wasn’t just about civil drawings and site visits.
It was about bonds that felt like forever:
-
Sunny (aka Swapnil) — the heart of every moment
-
Nisha — the quiet strength I needed
-
Lokesh, Vinod, Ramkrishna — who turned every day into a memory
And in the final year, when things got serious and life started to change, two stayed by my side like a rock:
-
Ramkrishna and Vinod — through stress, submissions, and those late-night chai breaks, their loyalty was unmatched.
They didn’t just remain friends — they became constants in the middle of all the changes.
π B.E. College — Where Growth Met Laughter
B.E. college was a different vibe altogether — more pressure, bigger dreams, and new friendships.
That’s where I met:
-
Sneha — my soul sister in logic and life
-
Shubhangi — the sunshine in my stormy days
-
Sayli — the calm voice who could untangle any mess
Together, we weren't just passing exams — we were figuring out life.
From projects and presentations to heart-to-heart talks in the corridor, our bond became the support system we all needed — not just for engineering, but for everything life threw at us.
πΌ Work Life — And a Bond Called ‘Thambi’
In the workplace, friends become rare.
But I found one in James — who was more like a “thambi” (younger brother, in Tamil).
No matter what phase of life I was in — James was always there.
Supportive. Sensitive. Solid.
π‘ After Marriage — New Place, New Bonds
And then came a whole new world.
Marriage brought me into a new home, with new people — yet somehow, every one of them turned into a friend.
From the youngest in the house to the eldest,
Each one accepted me, supported me,
and slowly, sweetly, became mine.
Their words, gestures, and even the smallest efforts made me feel like I belonged.
Friendship, truly, can be found in the most unexpected places.
πΈ Bonds by Blood, Strengthened by Love — My Cousins
Some friendships don’t need building — they were born with you.
My cousins have given me the kind of love that’s unconditional, unshaken, and unspoken:
-
Nidhi Di — who protects like a big sister and encourages like a best friend
-
Vinu Di — with whom every talk, every laugh, every memory is a little more special
No matter where life took me, I always knew I could fall back on them — and be held with love.
π A Bond That Found Me — Guddu
Some friendships are quiet blessings.
Guddu, you weren’t just a friend — you became my most unexpected connection.
From a random moment in the college lobby to becoming someone I can call my forever —
You’ve seen my messy days, heard my endless rants, and yet stayed.
You’re the kind of person who reminds me that some people are meant to find each other — no matter what.
Thank you for being my safe place, my reality check, and my joy — all in one.
πͺ One Frame, Infinite Hearts
To every friend I mentioned above — and even the ones I may not have —
Thank you for walking with me.
In joy, in pain, in celebration, and in silence.
You are my forever people.
You are the lighthouses that helped me find my way home.
